SMOKE DETECTORS: DON'T STAY HOME WITHOUT ONE PROGRAM
Smoke Detectors: Don't stay Home Without One Program is a fire safety project of the Lafayette County Fire Department and The State Fire Marshall Office. The goal is to reduce the chance of a fire fatality in Lafayette County by providing free smoke detectors to at risk homes that are without a working smoke detector.
To apply for a free smoke detector, fill out the applications below and return to the Chancery Clerks office or mail to the Lafayette County Fire Department, P.O. Box 1435, Oxford, MS 38655 before September 1, 2010. Your application will be processed and if approved, a Lafayette County volunteer firefighter will make an appointment with you to install your smoke detector.
